In its sixth year, Art for Choice has grown into a premier art and charity event. Some come for the mission of the event, while others come for the atmosphere. This is not a gallery show or simple art auction – this is an evening of art, music, fashion, great drinks and good food.
Well-known and emerging local artists, such as Amy Rice, Michael Birawer, Jennifer Davis and Terrence Payne, donate 100% of the profits from their original artwork auctioned at the event. Bidding for the auctioned art starts at 1/3 to 1/4 of the original retail value of the artwork.
In addition to viewing the artwork online, you may see it on display at Nina Bliese Gallery from September 21st – October 1st, 2009.
All proceeds benefit a local non-profit organization that has worked for over 42 years to provide women and youth sexual health information and services they need and want.
The event takes place Friday, October 2nd from 6:30 to 9:30 PM.
